Across more than 200 cities globally, our technologies support billions of passenger journeys annually across bus, rail, ferry, and multimodal transit networks.

As part of ICM Mobility Group — a mobility-focused investment group with more than $26 billion USD in funds under management — we are building the next generation of connected transit infrastructure through innovation, operational excellence, and long-term customer partnership.

Our mission is simple:make transit simpler, smarter, and more connected.

The Role

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Project Manager to join our North America delivery team.

This role is ideal for a strong mid-level or emerging senior project manager with experience delivering complex SaaS, payments, mobility, transit, or systems integration programs. You will lead end-to-end delivery activities for automated fare collection and mobility modernization programs while partnering closely with transit agencies, internal technical teams, system integrators, and executive stakeholders.

The role combines:

  • project delivery
  • schedule creation and management
  • stakeholder coordination
  • operational readiness
  • risk management
  • and customer-facing leadership

You will play a key role in helping transit agencies successfully modernize critical public infrastructure while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high customer satisfaction.

This position reports into the North America delivery organization and works cross-functionally across engineering, customer success, solutions engineering, business development, and executive leadership teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Execution
  • Lead delivery of fare collection, payments, and mobility technology projects across North America
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle activities from initiation through deployment and transition to operations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, solutions engineering, operations, customer success, vendors, and third-party partners
  • Ensure project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables are actively managed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support operational readiness, deployment planning, testing coordination, and customer onboarding activities
Schedule & Resource Management
  • Develop and maintain detailed integrated project schedules across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Track milestones, dependencies, critical path activities, and resource allocations
  • Facilitate schedule governance and proactive issue resolution to maintain delivery timelines
  • Support capacity planning and coordination across geographically distributed teams
Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong working relationships with transit agency stakeholders, partners, vendors, and internal teams
  • Lead recurring customer governance meetings, steering committees, and status reporting activities
  • Support executive-level communications and stakeholder alignment throughout project delivery
  • Help guide customers through operational and organizational change associated with modernization programs
Risk, Financial & Commercial Management
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, dependencies, and issues proactively
  • Support project financial tracking, forecasting, margin management, and change request governance
  • Partner with commercial teams to support scope definition, implementation planning, and delivery estimates for new opportunities and expansions
  • Ensure projects are delivered with strong operational discipline and commercial accountability
Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to development of delivery standards, governance frameworks, implementation playbooks, and operational best practices
  • Help improve project management processes, reporting standards, scheduling methodologies, and customer delivery approaches across the North America business

Requirements

We are looking for someone who combines strong organizational discipline with excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

You likely bring experience in many of the following areas:

  • 4 - 8+ years of project management experience within SaaS, payments, mobility, transit, transportation, or enterprise technology environments
  • Experience delivering complex technical integration or digital transformation programs
  • Strong schedule management capabilities across multiple projects and workstreams
  • Experience managing customer-facing delivery engagements and executive stakeholder relationships
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Strong familiarity with Google Suite
  • Strong presentation, reporting, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within fast-paced delivery environments
  • Experience supporting systems integrations, API-based platforms, cloud deployments, or enterprise software implementations
  • PMP required
  • Agile certification and/or experience preferred but not required
Highly Valued Experience
  • Public transit or fare collection experience
  • Payments, financial systems, or mobility technology experience
  • Experience working with government or public-sector organizations
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors or system integrators
  • Operational readiness, change management, or customer migration experience
Why Join Vix / Kuba?
