Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager plays a key leadership role in driving business transformation and system or process initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through delivery - ensuring that initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.
As a strategic leader and skilled communicator, the Senior Project Manager fosters strong partnerships with stakeholders at all levels, promotes accountability across teams, and ensures alignment with business objectives. This role may include direct leadership and development of other Project Managers or project team members.
Essential Functions

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects that span multiple business units and functions.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using standard project management tools and methodologies.
  • Manage project scope, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate clear and consistent project updates to stakeholders, executives, and project teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Drive accountability by defining key milestones, deliverables, and performance measures (KPIs) for each initiative.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure project success.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and day-to-day leadership for Project Managers and project team members as appropriate.
  • Champion best practices in project management, supporting the continuous improvement of tools, templates, and processes across the department.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align project outcomes with strategic business objectives and transformation goals.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional business transformation or IT projects
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI Preferred

  • Proven success managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills - with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams.

The annual salary for this position is:

$115,700.00 to $140,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
