Job description

Who We Are
Enstall is the world's largest provider of rooftop solar mounting hardware. Solar installers have depended on us to secure more than 3.5 GW of solar annually on residential, commercial and industrial roofs. Our brands in the U.S. include industry leaders IronRidge and PanelClaw.
What You'll Do
As the Senior Manager, IT, you will serve as a hands-on working leader (approximately 50% technical / 50% people leadership), providing senior direction across U.S. IT operations while actively contributing to the design, delivery, and support of core technology solutions. You will play a critical role in aligning regional execution with global IT strategy as a key member of the IS/IT leadership team.
Responsibilities include:
  • Shape and lead the U.S. IT strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities while personally contributing to the implementation and optimization of key technologies, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Oversee regional IT operations (infrastructure, support, service delivery, and cybersecurity), maintaining a secure, reliable, and scalable Microsoft-centric environment.
  • Act as a hands-on technical leader, capable of diving into complex infrastructure, troubleshooting, and architectural decisions when needed.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted partner across all levels of the organization, translating technical concepts into clear business outcomes and influencing decision-making.
  • Direct the regional project portfolio, ensuring clear prioritization, disciplined execution, and strong cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage the U.S. IT budget, making strategic, data-driven decisions on investments, resourcing, and technology roadmaps in partnership with the Global Director, IT/IS.
  • Champion global IT governance, security, and compliance standards while ensuring practical, business-aligned implementation at the regional level.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT, with a strong foundation in hands-on infrastructure and systems engineering.
  • 2+ years of people leadership, ideally within a global or matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated success operating as a working manager, balancing technical execution with team leadership responsibilities.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and enterprise security fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM tools such as TOPdesk, ServiceNow, or similar platforms, with a solid understanding of incident, change, and service management best practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, from technical teams to senior executives, with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed.

Where You'll Be Located
This is a hybrid position (2-3 days/week in the office, or more when business needs dictate) and will be based in any of our main office locations (North Andover, MA, Hayward, CA or Phoenix, AZ).
What We'll Offer
We offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, education and location. We anticipate the base salary for this position to be between $125,000 and $150,000 annually, if located in the Boston market. In addition to base salary, Enstall employees are eligible for either an annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
In addition to a competitive benefit package, we offer team members perks such as paid time off (PTO), a long-term incentive plan, 401(k) match, development opportunities, educational assistance, 12 observed company holidays, paid parental leave, and a collaborative, inclusive culture just to name a few!
Who We Hire
