The Technical Alignment Manager is a client-facing, technically proficient role responsible for assessing, documenting, and aligning customer environments with Silotech Group's standards, best practices, and service models. This role serves as a key relationship bridge between clients and Managed Services operations, ensuring technical environments are well understood, accurately documented, and positioned for reliable service delivery.
The Technical Alignment Manager is often the face of Silotech Group for assigned clients. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, technical fluency, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both end users and client leadership. While not a primary support role, the position requires light troubleshooting and a solid understanding of infrastructure to validate configurations and identify risks or gaps.
Essential Role and Responsibilities
Technical Assessment and Documentation
  • Conduct technical assessments of client environments across network, server, and workstation infrastructure.
  • Document hardware, software, configurations, and operational standards accurately and consistently.
  • Ensure client environments are aligned with Silotech's service standards and managed services requirements.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
  • Serve as a primary technical point of contact for alignment-related client interactions.
  • Engage professionally with end users and client management in person, via video, and over the phone.
  • Build trust through clear communication, reliability, and customer-focused execution.
Alignment, Risk Identification, and Handoffs
  • Identify misalignments, technical risks, or documentation gaps that could impact service delivery.
  • Collaborate with support, platform, and operations teams to address alignment findings.
  • Support smooth handoffs between onboarding, projects, and ongoing managed services.
Operational Support and Light Troubleshooting
  • Perform limited troubleshooting to validate configurations and support assessments.
  • Assist internal teams with clarification of documented environments and standards.
  • Ensure tickets and alignment records are documented clearly and accurately.
Professional Development and Continuous Improvement
  • Demonstrate initiative in expanding technical knowledge and alignment best practices.\
  • Participate in training and certification programs aligned with the role.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance consistency, accuracy, and client experience.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma with a minimum of three years of experience in a technical role, or a technical bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience.
  • Background in auditing, accounting, or compliance-oriented roles is beneficial.
Certifications
  • CCSM Level 1 certification or the ability to obtain within six months, higher-level certifications may substitute.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or the ability to obtain within six months, higher-level certifications may substitute.
Technical Skills
  • Foundational understanding of desktop, server, and endpoint management.
  • Experience managing users across Windows Server and SaaS platforms.
  • Troubleshooting knowledge across Windows and Mac environments.
