Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create, develop, and publish high-quality technical documentation for engineering and product development teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with R&D Engineers, Technical Support Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop clear, accurate, and user-focused technical materials supporting new product releases and product upgrades.


The Technical Writer will develop a strong understanding of complex products, including electrical and mechanical systems, and translate technical information into well-structured documentation for global distribution. This role requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple documentation projects while meeting deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams, technical support teams, and stakeholders to create and publish technical documentation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of product functionality, including electrical and mechanical subsystems.
  • Create clear, accurate, and detailed technical materials for print and digital formats.
  • Develop and maintain technical publications, user documentation, work instructions, and other required materials.
  • Ensure documentation meets quality standards and organizational requirements.
  • Partner with other technical writers to support documentation projects as needed.
  • Assist with newsletters, training materials, and other technical communications.
  • Manage documentation schedules and ensure project deadlines are achieved.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant technical writing experience.
  • Experience creating technical documentation for electronic equipment or complex products.
  • Experience developing documentation for both print and digital platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of documentation tools such as Adobe, MadCap Flare, Oxygen XML, or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Education, Instructional Design, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with technical writing, training development, or instructional design.
  • Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, and controlled documentation in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and Instructional Systems Design (ISD).
  • Experience creating process maps, flowcharts, and training materials.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
