Job description

We are hiring a Technical Writer. This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical writing skills and experience developing procurement documentation, particularly Request for Proposals (RFPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and draft RFPs for multiple high-priority IT projects.
  • Write business requirements, scope of work, technical requirements, deliverables, and staffing sections.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), project teams, and leadership to gather requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement standards, formatting guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to collect information and finalize documentation.
  • Support Medicaid Systems leadership with procurement documentation.
Required Qualifications

✔ Technical Writing experience
✔ Experience developing RFPs or similar procurement documentation
✔ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
✔ Experience working with document templates and style guidelines
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Public Sector or State Government experience
