The Technical Training Manager will report to the Vice President of Training & Execution and the Director of Science and Technology and will work closely with instructors, subject matter experts, and contract personnel to ensure FRDA’s training remains current, operationally relevant, and effective for customer needs.

  • Provide operational insight, risk management methodologies, and practical examples based on prior experience and technical expertise.
  • Research technologies, threat trends, and technical disciplines outside of the candidate’s primary area of expertise to ensure training remains forward-looking and relevant.
  • Coordinate with instructors specializing in different disciplines, subject matter experts, and contract workers to deliver an informative, cohesive, and customer-focused training experience.
  • Partner with FRDA leadership to identify training priorities, improve course quality, and align technical instruction with organizational standards and customer expectations.
Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of UTS and/or digital privacy problem sets, including associated risk management techniques.
  • Experience deploying, integrating, or using Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) technologies in an operational setting.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including operational personnel, instructors, and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage course materials, equipment, schedules, and stakeholder coordination in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coding or scripting experience, particularly with Python, Jupyter, or PowerShell.
  • Experience using GitHub, APIs, or related tools to manage, share, or integrate technical resources.
  • Basic understanding of network equipment, implementation concepts, and network-enabled technical systems.
