Hybrid

This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. The position can be based in West Bend, Madison, or Appleton, WI.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the training team in fostering a culture of lifelong learning and supporting a positive associate learning experience.
  • Manage a team of trainers and other teams as assigned by providing mentorship, guidance, and support in their professional development.
  • Oversee the performance management, career development, and training of team members.
  • Manage the research, development, and delivery of training content for insurance coverage and content under the learning pillars.
  • Apply adult learning principles to the instructional design and training delivery of courses offered.
  • Evaluate and implement approaches to make learning experiences more accessible, agile, and impactful for learners.
  • Design and manage training programs for both new and experienced associates, with a focus on enhancing knowledge and key technical skills.
  • Develop training plans for new product and service roll outs.
  • Analyze training effectiveness for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with leadership and other key stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop customized training solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build relationships and develop enterprise-wide training opportunities.

 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 8 years of experience in insurance or training
  •  3 years of supervisory experience
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor and develop others
  • Analytical and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field
  • Associate in General Insurance designation(s)

The salary range for this position is $109,432-$136,790. 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
