Office Support Associate, Testing Accommodation Center
Disability Resources and Educational Services

Job Summary
The key function of this role is to ensure the smooth and secure administration of exams for students with accommodations by preparing, proctoring, and managing exam logistics, while also supporting daily office operations and communication within the Testing Accommodation Center (TAC).Duties & Responsibilities
Exam Preparation & Exam Proctoring
• Prepare exams by printing, checking them against the TAC database, and ensuring they are in the correct format.
• Convert exams into accessible formats if needed.
• Package exams for scanning and return them to faculty after testing.
• Monitor the TAC database to ensure exams are uploaded, student reservations are scheduled, and booth assignments are correct.
• Monitor exams in real-time to maintain academic integrity.
• Respond to student concerns and ensure their safety.
• Verify students have the correct exams and seat them appropriately based on accommodations.
• Collect completed exams and return them to instructors as per TAC policy.
• Make decisions on student accommodations if issues arise and escalate to the Program Coordinator or Academic
• Accommodations Specialist when necessary.
General Office Support
• Provide day-to-day office support, including supply management, visitor screening, file upkeep, and correspondence.
• Coordinate with the other full-time employees to ensure staff presence during exams.
Monitor Testing Accommodation Center (TAC) related Communication
• Handle TAC-related communications and emails.
• Confirm exam instructions, respond to instructor questions, inform customers of TAC policies, and implement corrections to exam content.
• Distribute announcements and respond to student questions.
Assist with Student Workers
• Assist with training and scheduling student workers.
• Monitor their tasks to ensure they follow TAC policies and procedures.
Other Duties
• Perform other duties as assigned and appropriate for the role.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Any one or combination totaling eighteen (18) months from the categories below:
A. College coursework in any curriculum as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
• 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
• Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
B. Work experience performing office/clerical activities, including the use of computer systems.

Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 0846 - Office Support Associate position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the closing date. The collective bargaining agreement sets a pay rate of $20.082/hour for this classification.
This position is not eligible for any type of sponsorship for work authorization.
