Summary:

The Technical Services Associate supports key projects to ensure that production orientated ventures are implemented and executed with appropriate guidance and follow through. The Technical Services Associate will collaborate with team members at all facilities to support alignment between sites and help achieve production goals.


Essential functions:

· Support projects from a new product introduction (NPI) standpoint under guidance from Technical Services leadership or designated project leads.

· Assist with writing, conducting, and documenting studies, and support data evaluation to help ensure a robust NPI process.

·

· Assist with the generation and update of specifications (Raw Material, Label, Product) in collaboration with other departments to ensure the specifications accurately represent current processes.

· Support purchasing agents with the on-boarding of new vendors and raw materials.

· Coordinate the setting up of technical support for new or updated processes or procedures.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new projects that arise.

· Be a bridge between departments when working on a project that touches more than one department.

· Work with Director of Technical Services or Technical Services specialist, and Training Coordinator for specific training required.

· Maintain SCA at the forefront of cGMP and 503B guidelines by keeping current on FDA regulations and guidelines.

· Ensure customers receive products that are compatible with their systems and are within the internal guidelines approved by the Director of Pharmacy and Director of Quality.

· Help leadership with collecting data in areas supported by the Technical Services team.

· Any other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, pharmacy or related field
  • 0-2 years working in a cGMP and regulatory environment.
  • Exposure to project coordination, process improvement, technical documentation, or cross-functional team support preferred.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to complete work on time and follow through on commitment.
  • Ability to set work-related goals and strive to obtain them while acting with integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to set priorities, plan and organize work, while managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance and follow-up.

  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, crawling, climbing, lifting.
