Job description

Join the team at Adecco as we support Los Angeles County’s election efforts! We are seeking reliable and customer-oriented Election Support Specialists to assist local vote centers. This is an exciting, short-term opportunity offering competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a meaningful civic impact. 

Position Details: 

  • Location: La Puente, CA (Los Angeles County, District 5) 

  • Duration: Short-term assignment (5 to 12 days) 

  • Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM 

  • Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour + available overtime 

  • Type: Project / Short-term assignment 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support at voting centers during elections 

  • Ensure election equipment operates correctly and smoothly 

  • Resolve or escalate technical and equipment issues as needed 

  • Document all incidents using an established incident ticket system 

Schedule & Commitment: 

  • Must complete mandatory in-person and online training sessions 

  • Work full 12-hour daily shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) for the duration of the 5 to 12-day assignment 

  • Flexibility to handle available overtime during peak voting periods 

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent 

  • 1+ years of customer service or technical support experience 

  • Proficient with mobile devices like iPads and Android/iOS cell phones 

  • Ability to work effectively on a team and communicate clearly (verbally and written)
