JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Ophthalmic Assistant provides technical support and assistance to the Ophthalmic Physicians in order to facilitate the evaluation, treatment, and management of patients receiving specialized ophthalmic
EDUCATION:
Associates degree or at least two years specialized training in relevant field. Successful completion of an accredited program for Ophthalmic Assistants/Technicians or equivalent plus minimum of six months satisfactory full time work under ophthalmologic supervision.
EXPERIENCE:
Requires current experience in the last two years as an ophthalmic technician or assistant or an equivalent combination of education and medical experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities may be acquired, will be considered.
