ABOUT THE ROLE
The Specifications Manager oversees and develops detailed specifications for roofing, Steep Slope Commercial Sustainable Performance specifications, and New Construction Sustainable Performance upgrade packages. This role ensures that products meet industry, regulatory, and company quality standards.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Responsible for specification development, creating detailed product specifications, and ensuring alignment with design intent and performance requirements.
  • Regularly reviews and updates specifications based on new research, technological advancements, and feedback.
  • Manage all documentation and maintain an organized and easily accessible library of all product specifications.
  • Conducts internal and external training to teams on product specifications, changes, and implications.
  • Works closely with the quality team to address discrepancies between product specifications and actual products.
  • Works closely with multiple departments when documentation has been changed or modified.
  • Establishes and maintains positive and productive relationships with sales representatives, roofing contractors, and distributors.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is required
Required Work Experience: Five+ years of experience in specification management or a related role in the construction or manufacturing sector
Travel Requirements: 50%
Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
