Job description

As key position under Enterprise Correspondence, this role will be responsible for developing and leading the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise content management solutions built on the Alfresco platform. This role requires a strong combination of solution architecture expertise and hands-on technical skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performing, and secure solutions while providing technical leadership, establishing best practices, and actively contributing to implementation, troubleshooting, production issue resolution and performance optimization. A Lead at Healthfirst develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. The individual at this level will embody Healthfirstโ€™s Culture Drivers through his/her workplace behavior. This position requires three days per week in office (Tues/Wed/Thurs) at 100 Church Street, NYC.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance content management solutions (Alfresco) aligned with business and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and production support.
  • Assess feasibility and ramifications of new business requirements.
  • Design appropriate solutions and recommend alternative approaches when necessary.
  • Define and promote best practices for solution architecture, application development, security, performance tuning, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Perform architecture and technical design reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Drive performance optimization initiatives across the Alfresco ecosystem, including repository, search, indexing, APIs, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, DevOps engineers, infrastructure teams, vendors(Hyland) and project managers.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide hands-on support for critical implementations.
  • Contribute to CI/CD automation and cloud-native deployment strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree from an Accredited Institution
  • 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Document Management System, Alfresco
  • Proven experience as an Alfresco Solution Architect or Technical Lead on enterprise-scale implementations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Alfresco Content Services(ACS)
  • Experience implementing and configuring Alfresco Governance Services (AGS), including records management and retention policies
  • Strong understanding of Alfresco Repository, Content Model, Behaviors, Rules, Actions, Workflows, and REST APIs
  • Experience with Alfresco Bulk Import Tool
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, SOLR and enterprise search architecture. Search indexing optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Experience building applications using the Alfresco Application Development Framework (ADF), Share
  • Experience deploying and managing Alfresco on AWS/Kubernetes CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation Docker and containerized deployments
  • Experience with Java or /Spring Framework SQL and database optimization

Hiring Range*: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $116,800 - $168,810 All Other Locations (within approved locations): $99,700 - $148,325
