Job description

Graham Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for enterprise application development, cloud modernization, systems integration, and digital transformation initiatives supporting a Federal customer.

This position supports a Federal customer and requires regular onsite collaboration within the Washington, DC metropolitan area in accordance with Government requirements and mission needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise application architecture and technical solution design.
  • Develop modernization and cloud migration strategies.
  • Design secure, scalable Azure Government and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Lead architecture reviews, technical planning sessions, and solution design workshops.
  • Establish development standards, coding practices, and technical governance.
  • Guide DevSecOps implementation, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal cybersecurity, accessibility, and records management requirements.
  • Support Authority to Operate (ATO), POA&M, and security documentation activities.
  • Mentor software developers and provide technical leadership across multiple Agile teams.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions supporting mission objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years designing enterprise application architectures.
  • 5+ years designing Azure cloud solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure Government, and enterprise integration.
  • Experience with application modernization, DevSecOps, and Federal cybersecurity standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • TOGAF Certification
  • Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect
  • CISSP
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate

Security Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) Public Trust Background Investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government-issued Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential.
