Job description

Aurora Sales Project Manager- August 2026

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Project Manager, located in Aurora, IL.

Starting pay is $20-$25/ hour, plus generous commissions. [$50K + first year]

Compensation is based on experience and skills.

Job description:

The Sales Project Manager will be responsible for providing product or service information to coordinate projects, managing customer relationships, handling sales transactions, and providing exceptional customer service. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers in the showroom and providing assistance to determine his or her needs for the sales or service related inquiry
  • Answering sales calls and general product or service related inquiries
  • Providing detailed explanation of products, features and functions
  • Quote and create sales order utilizing Southwest Fireplace’s guided sales process, purchase sales material through various select dealers,
  • Quote and create service call orders,
  • Provide professional, accurate, and timely information on order status, product availability, shipment details, and scheduling of installation with technician team
  • Job-site measurements for product viability before installation
  • Accounts Receivable follow up on your customer or builder orders
  • Various open and closing showroom tasks at the Aurora location

Schedule:

·       Monday-Wednesday: 9:45 AM – 6:00 PM

·       Thursday – Saturday: 9:45 am – 5:00 PM

   (one day off February-September)

·       No Sundays and no nights

Requirements:

·       Commute to Aurora showroom

·       Must have reliable transportation to and from work

·       Must fluently speak, read, and write in English

·       Legal to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Coordination and Analytical Skills
  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills
  • Sales experience and effective negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus (NOT required)
