EDE Corporation is growing and adding to our Team!
We create innovative and award-winning trade show exhibits and commercial interiors. To build on our successes, and ensure the highest quality, our Senior Project Managers must be able to assist in the initiating and planning of a project and be fully responsible for executing, monitoring, and controlling each project for their assigned clients. This position is also responsible for improving product quality while decreasing costs and production times by finding better materials and production methods. Senior Project Manager Job Duties:

  • Create and manage project timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Review exhibit renderings, analyze estimates, and create a clear direction for fabrication.
  • Lead meetings with Design, Engineering, Production, Estimating, and Account Executives/Account Managers to review project needs and client expectations.
  • Guide and manage Draftsman to create detail drawings and communicate as needed with Account Executive / Account Manager to achieve an approved final production drawing set.
  • Order and supervise the ordering of 3rd party contracted exhibit elements.
  • Order and manage custom exhibit finishes / details.
  • Communicate with and provide support to production throughout the project.
  • Communicate with all departments including drafting, production, graphics and finishing.
  • Continually monitor job progress to identify aspects of a project that can go wrong and clarifying assumptions to avoid problems or ensure contingencies are in place.
  • Coordinate with the Account Management team the ordering of show service information
  • Lead post-Project meetings to analyze and improve on projects in the future.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of client inventories.
  • Maintenance of all active Job Files
  • Assist in Invoicing review process.
Senior Project Manager Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade and/or college experience preferred
  • Minimum 4-6 years’ Project Management experience in the trade show industry.
  • Read and understand designs and blueprints.
  • Understanding of exhibit fabrication techniques and how to customize for projects.
  • In office position, must be able to commute daily to our Chicago location
