Job description

Role Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber Technical Sales Manager to drive the adoption of our next-generation CXL-based hardware within the hyperscale and neo-cloud ecosystem. You will be the primary technical interface for architects and procurement leads at cloud service providers, helping them solve "memory wall" challenges through memory pooling, expansion, and disaggregated infrastructure.This job description is tailored for a technical sales professional tasked with positioning CXL (Compute Express Link) hardware to hyperscale cloud providers targeting their specific use cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute technical sales plans for hyperscalers or neoclouds to secure high-volume design wins.

  • Consultative Solution Design: Act as a subject matter expert on which applications benefit on CXL use, help design custom server and rack-scale configurations that meet hyperscale performance and TCO targets.

  • Technical Proofs of Concept (PoC) Execution & Management: Utilize industry contacts to identify, specify and manage key technical engagements focused on revenue potential.

  • Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner with internal R&D and product teams to translate hyperscale requirements into the company’s product roadmap.

  • Market Leadership: Represent the company at industry events (e.g., FMS, OCP, SC,) to build brand credibility and stay ahead of emerging industry trend which may take advantage of CXL use cases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Fluency: Deep knowledge of data center architectures, memory and storage hierarchies, and recent interconnect trends for scale-up and scale-out architecturesincluding their use in AI and more traditional cloud workloads. Knowledgeable about the CXL ecosystem.

  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record in B2B hardware sales understanding of the competitive environment to build ROI models that justify the transition to CXL-attached memory and company’s additional features.

  • Communication: Exceptional ability to simplify complex hardware specifications for procurement while holding deep-dive sessions with silicon and system architects.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: 5+ years in technical sales or applications engineering, specifically targeting the hyperscale or AI/HPC data center markets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Standards & Ecosystem Familiarity: Experience with OCP, JEDEC, or CXL Consortium participation
