JobSummary:
Plan, direct, control andmanage the activities and staff involved with the negotiation, preparation,monitoring and termination of contracts between the company and customers toensure the fulfillment of all contractual obligations. Primary liaison between customer, engineering,manufacturing, finance and quality departments to address customer relatedneeds including but not limited to quotations, orders and general questions.
PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities:
Supervise customer servicestaff responsible for purchase order entry, quotation coordination andsubmittal, backlog alignment and customer communication
Manage and coordinate contract administrationactivities to ensure that contractual obligations are maintained in a mannerwhich ensures good customer relations while representing the interest of thecompany.
Advise management ofcontract obligations, deficiencies, commitments, and performance.
Supportssales function in the processing of quotations and proposals
Handlesincoming requests for order status including expedite requests throughcoordination with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality and Purchasing aswell as drives regular customer updates where required.
Proactivelymanages on time delivery through close internal coordination and communicatesstatus inclusive of recovery date information if applicable.
Fieldsgeneral customer inquiries and conducts internal research to respond in atimely manner.
Buildsand maintains strong positive relationships with customers and assures customersatisfaction by resolution of customer related issues as well as supporting inperson meetings.
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience:
BS degree or equivalent and at least 5 years experience leading a sales team in a manufacturing environment
Aerospace Industry experience preferred.
ERP system knowledge.
Past project management experience and experience leading a crossfunctional team to manage the timeline and delivery on new parts/products.
Good customer relation skills.
Moderate to Expert in various Microsoft applications
