Job Summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is currently seeking a Technical Resource Engineer for its SE Georgia manufacturing facility. This position will involve promoting new and existing concrete products for drainage applications across the country, while providing technical expertise and support to engineers, specifiers, end users, and internal teams.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Technical Resource Engineer is responsible for market development, technical education, industry relationship management, and serving as the liaison between the engineering community and the sales and operations teams.

Job Location

  • Office location for this position is Lebanon, TN or remote/work from home in the territory of responsibility (Nashville, TN.)

Job Responsibilities

  • Promote new and existing concrete products to engineers, specifiers, end users, and internal employees.
  • Manage Oldcastle Infrastructure’s relationships with industry organizations.
  • Serve as the liaison between engineers, sales, and operations teams.
  • Support market development and education related to the material specification process.
  • Organize, facilitate, and deliver Lunch and Learn presentations and plant tour opportunities for industry partners.
  • Identify and attend trade shows relevant to the designated territory.
  • Change or Improve specifications of concrete products
  • Attend annual SASHTO and ACPA Pipe School in person or virtually, as required.
  • Understand and maintain knowledge of competitive products in the marketplace.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. •    Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
•    Professional Engineer license preferred, or ability to obtain a PE license within 12 months.
•    Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
•    Flexibility and willingness to travel within the service area and for training, as required.
•    Valid driver’s license with no major traffic violations.
