Job description

Position Summary: The Cold Storage Construction Sales Representative will play a key role in driving new business and delivering design‐build solutions for temperature‐controlled facilities. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and guiding customers through the planning and construction of modern cold storage, refrigerated, and industrial environments. The individual hired will support projects across the food & beverage, logistics, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets, ensuring clients receive efficient, cost‐effective, and technically sound facility solutions.


Job Functions:

  • Develop new business opportunities within cold storage, food processing, logistics, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
  • Identify customer needs and provide turnkey design‐build solutions for refrigerated warehouses, food processing plants, distribution centers, and freezer/cooler expansions.
  • Convey project requirements to the estimator.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial consultation through project completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic prospecting.
  • Collaborate with design professionals and construction partners to deliver cost‐effective, energy‐efficient cold storage solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing while meeting company sales and profitability goals.
  • Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of industry trends, building codes, insulated panel systems, refrigeration technologies, and food safety requirements.

  • 2+ years of prior experience in customer service, sales or marketing in similar fields. 
  • Preferably has a background in cold storage and food processing construction, metal building fabrication, or refrigeration. If not, must have the ability and drive to learn basic concepts.


Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of up to 50lbs.
  • Will be required to sit for extended periods of time, whether in office setting or while on the road (commuting)
  • Have the ability to stand and walk for up to 8 (or more) hours a day.
  • Some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
  • Some tasks require the ability to perceive sounds and visual cues or signals.
