Job description

MegazoneCloud is looking for a passionate Senior Solutions Architect - Automotive (Presales) who contributes to building our business with customers. The Senior Solutions Architect - Automotive (Presales) serves as a strategic technical advisor to the Automotive sector sales and prospective clients. This role is responsible for designing cloud-based solutions that address customer needs, supporting the sales cycle, and leading short-term consulting engagements to clarify client requirements and expectations. The architect must demonstrate exceptional leadership during the Presales stage, guiding both internal teams and clients toward successful solution alignment. Strong presentation skills and Automotive-specific knowledge are essential to effectively communicate and tailor solutions to client contexts.
Key Responsibilities
  • AWS & Industry Expertise
    • Extensive presales or consulting experience supporting Automotive customers, such as OEMs, Tier‑1/Tier‑2, or mobility providers.
    • Understanding of engineering, SDV, connected vehicles, manufacturing operations, supply chain, and quality.
    • Strong familiarity with AWS Automotive solutions, blueprints, and reference architectures.
  • Presales Leadership & Customer Engagement
    • Lead technical strategy for presales cycles centered around AWS cloud native architectures.
    • Contribute AWS-based solution designs for proposals, RFPs, and SOWs; provide resource, cost, and timeline estimates.
    • Run discovery sessions, technical workshops, and drive PoCs/assessments.
  • Solution Leadership
    • Translate automotive customers' needs into scalable AWS cloud-native and AI-enabled designs.
    • Deliver compelling demos and presentations highlighting AWS services and partner capabilities.
    • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure AWS architectures are implemented as designed.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years in presales, technology consulting, or solutions architecture.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on cloud experience and 3+ years specifically on AWS.
  • Strong experience designing AWS-based architectures: Infrastructure, containerization (EKS/ECS), microservices, serverless (Lambda), modern data lakes (S3, Glue, Athena), streaming (Kinesis), IoT, etc.
  • Proven experience supporting automotive customers in presales or consulting roles.
  • Strong understanding of the Automotive Industry terms, such as SDV, connected vehicle, manufacturing ops, quality, or supply chain.
  • Ability to communicate AWS architectures clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Certification - Associate.
  • Experience leading short-term AWS consulting or PoC engagements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple AWS-driven sales cycles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Solutions Architect Certification - Professional.
  • Experience working with Tier‑1 suppliers, ISVs, and automotive ecosystem partners.
  • Familiarity with Terraform/IaC, DevOps, CI/CD on AWS.
  • Prior development or prototyping experience using AWS services.
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Korean bilingual.
