Are you looking for a role where you'll lead the development of cutting-edge technology used in some of the most demanding environments on the planet?

Do you want to step into a senior position with real autonomy, full product lifecycle ownership and the opportunity to support products where performance genuinely matters?

This is an opportunity to join a specialist defense communications company designing and manufacturing highly complex electronic products for military and government customers. You'll have ownership of projects, but you won't be pushed away from the engineering. Instead, you'll help guide products through the full lifecycle while remaining close to the technical challenges and decisions that make the work interesting.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and customers, you'll help bring highly complex products to life. From supporting new product introductions and design changes through to product sustainment and technical problem-solving, you'll have a genuine influence on both the technology and the success of the programmes behind it.

You'll be joining a business with an outstanding reputation for retention. The person currently in the role is retiring after more than 40 years in the industry and will be supporting the handover, giving you a rare opportunity to learn from someone with decades of experience before taking ownership yourself.

If you're looking for a role that combines technical challenge, project ownership, career progression and genuinely interesting products, this is a role not to be missed!

The Role:

  • Own complex engineering projects from concept through production and field support
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing & customers to bring advanced products to life
  • Support new product introductions, design changes and long-term product sustainment
  • Work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off

The Person:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Experience leading projects involving electronic hardware products
  • Strong understanding of product development, manufacturing introduction and lifecycle support
  • Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
