Culmen International is seeking a Project Manager for USSOCOM support at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.
 
The Project Manager will assist the government with the initiation, planning, execution and closure of projects for new capabilities in the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE) in support of USSOCOM requirements

USSOCOM requires comprehensive program support encompassing:

  • Strategic planning and resource planning
  • Program management and administration
  • Quality assurance development and reporting
  • Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) review
  • Strategic resource planning support (e.g., POM submissions, spend plans)
  • Budget execution support, including funding document processing and invoice review
  • Technical and application assessment support

This position requires on-site work.

This position is for talent pipeline only at this time until award of contract. 


  • Assist the government with the initiation, planning, execution and closure of projects for new capabilities in the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE)
  • Serve as the primary interface between the Government customer and contractor team
  • Develop and execute strategic plans, resource plans, and program objectives aligned with USSOCOM mission requirements
  • Manage and administer project operations, ensuring compliance with contract requirements
  • Oversee development and implementation of quality assurance processes and reporting
  • Review, manage, and ensure timely submission of all CDRLs and deliverables
  • Support and manage strategic resource planning processes, including POM submissions and spend plans
  • Oversee budget execution activities, including funding document processing and invoice review
  • Lead technical and application assessments to support project's performance and continuous improvement
  • Manage project's scope, schedule, cost, and performance to ensure successful execution
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coordination to program staff and subcontractors
  • Support project's reviews, briefings, and stakeholder engagements

  • Relevant experience supporting related Government agency may be substituted in lieu of formal education
  • Experience supporting USSOCOM or similar DoD organizations
  • Demonstrated experience managing Government contracts and contractor personnel
  • Experience with project planning, resource management, and budget execution processes
  • Familiarity with CDRLs, quality assurance reporting, and contract compliance requirements
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior Government stakeholders
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • PMI Project Management Professional required
