SUMMARY
The Technical Project Manager (TPM), will oversee complex software delivery projects from inception to deployment, ensuring a seamless client experience while driving time and resource efficiencies. As a pivotal member of the Product & Technology Practice, The Technical Project Manager will guide collaboration among stakeholders to enhance project outcomes while mitigating risks.
KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Key Outcome: Manage projects, acting as Scrum Master, and ensure project and delivery metrics are being met
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of software delivery projects to ensure quality standards, timelines, and budgets are all met.
  • Conduct agile ceremonies, including planning, demos and retrospectives for continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between development team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and issues.

Key Outcome: Allocate resources, identify and mitigate risks and issues within projects
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with functional leads to allocate resources effectively and manage project scope.
  • Identify and escalate risks proactively, ensuring timely resolution to keep projects on track.
  • Participate in forecasting, resource planning, and scoping for projects and requests within the product portfolio.

Key Outcome: Ensure and foster collaboration & engagement across project and functional teams
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a communication hub, facilitating connections between all team members and stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Lead formal team status meetings and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Utilize project management tools to drive process improvement and efficiency across the portfolio.

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of software project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver results on time and within scope.

PREFERRED:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Client-facing project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products.

COMPENSATION
Butler/Till is committed to providing pay transparency of our compensation philosophy and ensuring equitable pay practices for our employee owners. The compensation range for this position is $68,000 - $108,000 and represents the annual salary range in Rochester, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
This is just one component of Butler/Till's total compensation package for employee owners. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), an annual bonus, in addition to a full benefits package, and paid time off benefits, including 100% paid parental leave. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
