Job Summary:
Diverse Lynx is looking for a Technical Project Manager with expertise in AWS to oversee project execution and enhance team collaboration. The role involves mentoring development teams, managing project delivery, and ensuring effective communication across various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Creates mechanisms, standards, and predictable procedures for TPM and scrum team execution. Simplify and improve process controls.
• Clear, concise, timely, and accurate communication (both written and verbal) with the right audience. Drives business and technical discussions.
• Effective end-to-end delivery of projects and programs. Ensures the right plans are developed, the right connections are made, the right actions taken, and ultimately, the right technical solution is delivered with quality. Mitigates risks effectively balancing short term decisions with long term consequences when delivering projects. Escalates with good judgment.
• Depth of business, business operations, systems and technical operations domain.
• Degree the business problems, requirements, technology, and delivery plans are defined. Level of independence.
• Build consensus, secure commitments, and negotiate positive outcomes on engineering processes, team alignment, and delivery across Client teams. Level of influence into product, project, and/or program strategy, design approaches, architecture, team and organization.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive product roadmaps.
• Address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
• Partner with multiple teams across multiple locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely delivery of products or solutions.
• Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establishing and maintain clear chains of accountability.
• Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Coordinate meetings with internal and external project team members to identify and resolve issues.
• Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
• Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
• Analyze business situations, create processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience mentoring development teams on AWS best practices and architectural patterns
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience in Design and architect enterprise cloud solutions that balance security, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
• Agile-Scrum-Sprint Ceremonies; PM; JIRA; Confluence
• Technical: One of the following Data Engineering Areas: Datawarehouse or Business Intelligence or Big Data or Data Analytics or Visualizations or Master Data Management projects
• Cloud Experience: In one of the Cloud Platforms PCF/AWS/Azure/Google platforms And Microservices Architecture
• Experience in making design and technical decisions for Native Mobile Applications
• Knowledge in writing ADA compliant code
• Knowledge in CI/CD Tools and DevOps pipeline
• Coordinating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
• Coordinating with UX designer for UX design clarification
• Coordinating Business Analyst, QA and Product owners for requirement clarification and QA support
• Agile (Scrum) Ceremonies (Grooming/Planning/Standup/Demo/Retro)
• Agile Certification e.g. CSM, PSM etc
• Agile Management Tools e.g. JIRA
• CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) and associated tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins)
• Microservices Architecture e.g exp in Cloud (Pivotal Cloud Foundry-PCF) or equivalent e.g. AWS/Azure
• Computer Science Graduate (Bachelor/Master)
• Experience in programming in earlier carrier e.g. web/mobile development
