A day in the life:
In the position of Technical Project Manager, you will be a technical leader focusing on North America (NORAM) supply chain sponsored product development projects including new plants, new vendors, and overall network expansion. Focus on overall problem solving related to liquid processing and overall liquid batching. Support the technical integration process where the role will influence the planning and organization of the project scope with various other technical functions in Engineering and Quality. Drive technical transfer communication by capturing and transferring detailed knowledge of Company co-packer processes and capabilities to support successful process transfers and rapid deployment of new formulas or process improvements.
The impact you'll make:
  • Conduct full physical audits on site monthly and able to travel to conduct urgent physical counts.
  • Create the Roll Forward reports for each location audited, create the auditing packets for internal auditors and streamline the communication between internal Auditors and inventory. Upload physical counts into SAP.
  • Identify priority audit locations with assistance from Finance and assist Finance team with the review of monthly spoilage allowances.
  • Assist with implementing process improvement at the copackers that are identified during audits and work with Leads to review high risk Items on site.
  • Review discrepancies identified by internal Auditors at end of month (EOM) review and proactively identify inventory issues prior to month end closing. Ensure remote plants report accurate counts at month-end.
  • Identify and research inventory discrepancies and correct errors in SAP (Material Management Module) on site.
  • Study receipts, sale order shipments, and postings to endure seamless and accurate flow of product.
  • Assist and collaborate with internal departments with inventory related issues and resolve inventory issues and makes corrections in a timely manner.
  • Consistently provides timely and accurate inventory information and counts to the Inventory Control Lead as needed and assist Inventory Control Lead with reconciliation of inventory discrepancies at month and quarter end.
  • Participate in random cycle counts, physical audits, and preform full physical counts when needed. Assist with the training of remote users and support while they are processing on behalf of Monster Energy Company.
  • Perform other inventory related duties as required
Who you are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of - Chemical, Processing, or other Engineering field. M.Sc or MBA preferred.
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in Product Development and Process Engineering, Manufacturing
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in Project Management
  • Computer Skills Desired: Experience with Smartsheets, Microsoft PM, or other project management system. SAP experience preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: PMP certification is a plus
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Efficient communicator since job entails representing company with external plants as well as excellent communication skills to internally drive projects.
  • Role will require travel up to 40%
