Job description

Osmose is currently seeking 2 Project Coordinator's in our Depew, NY office to coordinate project-specific activities within an assigned team by ensuring that the job set up, processing, production, schedule compliance, data quality and delivery of data requirements are met for project success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with providing direction to data technicians within the team throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Works with the engineering group to coordinate data technician resources for assigned projects; provides feedback on the productivity and performance of data technicians assigned to the project.

  • Participates in project definition and setup including technical project set up, as well as ensuring adherence contractual obligations.

  • Works closely with the Project Manager, assisting with data model creation, import/export configuration, mobile configuration, validation configuration, configuration management, production processes, data tracking and problem resolution.

  • Determines best methods to perform project tracking and reporting tasks; reviews completed projects and makes recommendations for future process enhancements

  • Facilitates and performs all project-related internal and external communications requirements including status reports, conference calls, staff meetings and project web site maintenance.

  • Ensures proper customer sign-off, documents lessons learned, reviews completed projects and makes recommendations for future process enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in geography, computer science or related technical discipline or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.

  • Some junior-level project management experience preferred.

  • Experience in ESRI GIS product such as ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, Survey 123, and Field Maps.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred:

  • Some junior-level Project Management experience preferred.

  • Experience in Joint Use systems, Outside Plant (OSP) and other utility technical activities is a plus.
