About this Role

R.R. Cassidy, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate would have experience with project management and also be familiarized with the construction industry.

Key intangibles for the position include being self-motivated, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, a willingness to embrace the challenges of managing evolving tasks and structures, the ability to multitask and wear multiple hats in a dynamic environment, having strong leadership skills, and also possessing sound soft skills.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the scheduling, resource coordination, and budgeting of projects, including the constant monitoring of job costs.
  • Coordinate with the project estimation team to stay aware of current bid proposals, and also future opportunities with new or existing clients or markets.
  • Responsible for overseeing and tracking daily production outputs and projecting future production outputs.
  • Completes and submits accurate and timely production logs and QA/QC reports to all applicable parties.
  • Creates and tracks all RFIs, change orders, and job-specific procedures, ensuring internal and external expectations are regularly being met.
  • Identifies, tracks, and communicates any resource delays, or issues that arise concerning the project's permitting status, Right-of-Way status, etc.
  • Manages contracts, such as ensuring specific contract milestones or stipulations are appropriately met.
  • Works with Superintendents and General Superintendents so projects flow as expected.
  • Serves as the project point of contact for offsite administrative team to ensure completion of all administrative paperwork and reporting, including timesheets, credit card receipts, invoices, etc.
  • Manages project required equipment, including rentals, leases, breakdowns, relocations, etc.
  • Ensures project required consumables, materials, etc. are ordered, onsite, and ready to be utilized
What You'll Bring
  • College Degree and preferably working experience that directly relates to this position.
  • Current TWIC card or the ability to obtain one.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices.
  • General knowledge and understanding of construction jobsite processes and procedures.
  • Ability to properly interpret documents such as blueprints, emergency action plans, JSA's, procedure manuals, boring logs, survey results, and operating/maintenance instructions.
  • Ideally some experience with construction management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Heavybid.)
  • The ability to travel up to, but not necessarily, 50% of the time.
  • Being familiar and capable of using Microsoft-related applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Physically capable of lifting up to, but not necessarily, 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of working in adverse weather conditions if necessary, such as hot, cold, rainy, humid, etc.
  • Pass drug and alcohol screening (pre-employment & random.)
