Technical Program Manager-Data Solutions Title: Technical Program Manager-Data Solutions x 3 Location: 100% Remote (fly to MA once per quarter) The Technical Program Manager, Data Solutions is accountable for the delivering a comprehensive data solution. Data Solutions encompass any combination of DataMart's, tools, reports, dashboard, AI/ML models and metadata as is deemed necessary to meet the business requirements. This person will lead the project Operating Committee, related working groups and the execution of the data solutions roadmap while aligning with data governance policies. The TPM, Data Solutions willdrive implementation of technical tasks while monitoring dependencies and reporting key risks, issues, and blockers. This person willown the integration of role-based and fine-grained data access within individual DataMart's. This role will also serve as the first point of escalation for Data Solutions and Access issues .The Technical Program Manager collaborates withinstitutional leadership and engages with individual stakeholders across central administrations, Departments, Institutes and Labs. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Owning the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support analytical and business needs Sets a comprehensive data solutions roadmapto deliver a comprehensive redesign of data models that support systems integrations, align with the institute's data management strategy cross-functional reporting and analytics challenges Leads high level and detailed technical design with senior engineers to create compliant and efficient architecture for enforcing data policies Drives implementation of technical tasks, monitoring key dependencies and reporting risks, issues, and blockers Holds partner engineering teams accountable for setting and delivering ambitious goals that improve competitive practices within their services Identifies inter-workstream dependencies and align on then monitor paths to address them Leads Functional Committees and Working Groups Collaborates with stakeholders to reach foundational decisions Engages with usersacross MIT and all levelsto understand needs, promote data literacy, and improve data offerings Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required At least 7years of experience in data management, data engineering or related rolesincludingtechnical product or program management experience and working directly with leadership, functional and data engineering teams Experience with data management tools and technologies, such as metadata repositories, ETL, ELT, Data Orchestration and API's Experience with BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau or QuickSight Experience in writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries across large data sets Proven success in communicating with business users, technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe data modeling decisions and data engineering strategy Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, and coordinatingand managingrelease schedules Experience in a complex, decentralized organizations, preferably higher education Preferred 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience Experience modeling and implementing complex data solutions Experience with Data modelling and reporting tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
