Job description

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for transforming strategic plans into project plans and ensuring effective cross-team collaboration. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage risks, integrate teams, and handle stakeholder expectations while promoting agile practices and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Plan Implementation: Assist with strategic plan creation. Lead the activities to translate strategic plans into actionable waterfall project plans. Propagate the project plans into agile teams.
  • Cross-Team Relationships: Cultivate and maintain effective relationships across various teams to ensure collaborative and cohesive project execution.
  • Department Level Staffing: Lead staffing resource planning using the project plans, ensuring that the department has the necessary resources and talent to meet project demands.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks crossing and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Cross-Team Integration: Facilitate integration across different teams to streamline processes and enhance project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prioritization: Assist team leads with managing and prioritizing tasks and projects to align with business objectives and maximize efficiency.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant certifications in project management and agile methodologies are a plus.
