Job Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Southeastern Technical College is seeking an individual to assist with the management, planning, implementation, and evaluation of financial aid programs, policies, and procedures. This person should have a thorough understanding of Southeastern Technical College and its mission. The Financial Aid Technician should be an intelligent, well-organized individual who is results-oriented. The Financial Aid Technician will report to the Director of Financial Aid.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A completed associate degree or diploma from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university or applicant is currently enrolled and in the process of completing a degree or diploma, or applicant is willing to enroll in a program and agree to complete within 2 years. If you do not possess a diploma/degree, you will be required to enroll and satisfactorily complete a program-your continued employment will be contingent upon completion of the program within a specified timeframe. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must also demonstrate skills in word processing, experience with various software programs, and the ability to work well with others and organization skills.

SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary is to be commensurate with education and work experience. This position is part-time and is therefore not eligible for health or flexible benefits.
