Job Description:
Retail Experience (Nice-to-Have vs Required)
  • Retail experience is not required if TPM/technical skills are strong
  • Ideal candidate can quickly ramp on retail systems and landscape
  • If coming from retail:
    • Should understand merchandising systems, POS, and store systems
    • Be able to speak to how systems interact within a retail environment
  • Candidates lacking basic knowledge of retail systems (if claiming retail experience) are not a fit

Vendor Management Experience
  • Experience managing 15+ vendors and integrations
  • Deep involvement in:
    • Defining scope across vendors
    • Building and managing timelines
    • Tracking deliverables closely
    • Driving accountability across external partners

Background Profile
  • Typically comes from:
    • Technical/IT background → moved into program/project management, or
    • Product background with strong technical exposure
  • Proven experience functioning as a true Technical Program Manager (TPM)
