Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Engineering organization. The TPM will play a critical role in ensuring our products and services meet and exceed our customers' contractual requirements. This role is pivotal in upholding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while ensuring the smooth operation of various functions related to the delivery of data center products and services. The TPM will oversee execution and compliance of customer lease terms, projects, and requirements throughout the entirety of the customer life cycle.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and customer requirements across multiple data center functions including space design and delivery, physical security, power and environmental operations, health & safety, interconnection, incident management, and change management.
  • Oversee service availability, compliance, and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Account Management, Design, Construction, Implementations, Operations, EHS, IT, and Security to ensure a seamless delivery of services.
  • Partner with external resources as needed to meet customer needs and obligations.
  • Drive business process innovation to enhance contract delivery capabilities through defined processes, systems, and automation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee and manage the execution of customer lease terms and requirements to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans and schedules required to satisfy lease terms.
  • Understand CyrusOne's standard policies and procedures, and perform process documentation for non-standard requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • BA or BS in technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in data center colocation or IT infrastructure support.
  • Technical aptitude with an understanding of contract and lease terms including energy, building premises, telecom, security, and operations.
  • Experience with data center builds, migrations, and installations.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or similar certification are preferred.
