Position Summary
Hyve Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the development and delivery of next-generation server, storage, AI, and rack-scale infrastructure platforms for hyperscale cloud customers. This role is responsible for driving complex hardware development programs from concept and architecture through qualification, manufacturing ramp, and customer deployment.
The Senior Program Manager will serve as the central leader coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Platform Validation, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Customer Engineering to ensure successful execution of strategic programs.
This position requires exceptional leadership, technical acumen, customer engagement skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-visibility programs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end hardware development programs across server, storage, rack integration, and infrastructure platforms for a hyper scalar/s.
  • Develop and manage integrated program schedules, milestones, resource plans, and execution strategies.
  • Drive alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing organizations.
  • Ensure programs meet cost, quality, schedule, and customer delivery objectives.
  • Establish program governance, review cadence, and executive reporting mechanisms.

Product Development Management
  • Manage product lifecycle activities from concept, architecture definition, prototyping, EVT, DVT, PVT, production release, and sustaining engineering for multiple programs
  • Coordinate hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, thermal, and validation teams throughout development.
  • Drive design reviews, readiness assessments, and release approvals working with multiple Technical Program Managers
  • Track critical path dependencies and proactively resolve program risks.

Customer Engagement
  • Act as primary program interface for strategic hyperscale and enterprise customers.
  • Lead customer program reviews, status meetings, technical discussions, and escalation management.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering and operational plans.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring delivery commitments are achieved.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Engineering, Platform Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, Global Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams.
  • Drive timely decision-making and issue resolution across multiple organizations.
  • Influence stakeholders at all organizational levels without direct authority.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and organizational alignment.

Risk & Change Management
  • Identify program risks, technical challenges, and resource constraints early.
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Lead change control processes and manage impacts to schedule, cost, and scope.
  • Escalate critical issues appropriately while driving resolution ownership.

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Readiness
  • Support manufacturing readiness, pilot builds, and production ramp activities.
  • Coordinate with ODM, supplier, and internal operations teams to ensure successful launches.
  • Monitor material readiness, capacity planning, and supply chain risks.
  • Drive factory execution and production issue resolution.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement
  • Define and monitor program KPIs, execution dashboards, and business metrics.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance predictability, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Capture lessons learned and implement best practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations, or related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, product development, or engineering leadership.
  • 5+ years leading complex hardware development programs.
  • Strong understanding of server, storage, networking, data center infrastructure, or AI platform development.
  • Experience managing programs through hardware development phases (Concept, EVT, DVT, PVT, Production).
  • Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams and manage executive stakeholder communications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with program planning and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale cloud providers and enterprise customers.
  • Experience with rack integration, OCP platforms, AI infrastructure, GPU server development, or liquid cooling technologies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, NPI processes, and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with PLM, ERP, quality systems, and engineering change processes.
