A Day in the LifeMedtronic's Neuroscience portfolio is dedicated to helping people regain function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life through innovative therapies. Within Neuroscience, the Pelvic Health Operating Unit develops minimally invasive neuromodulation solutions that help patients manage bladder and bowel control conditions and achieve greater independence and confidence.
Located at Medtronic's headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, this role is onsite four days per week. Travel is not required for this role.

Our Pelvic Health operating unit advances care for bladder and bowel control conditions through restorative, minimally invasive neuromodulation therapies. By modulating sacral and peripheral nerves, we deliver personalized, programmable solutions backed by strong clinical evidence to help restore function and improve quality of life.

Join us in building the foundation of our next-generation digital platform. We are seeking a highly organized, action-oriented Technical Program Manager, Digital Health who excels at leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution. The ideal candidate has deep experience partnering with software development teams to build and manage integrated program plans that coordinate work across multiple teams, clearly map dependencies, establish milestones, and proactively identify risks to delivery. This individual is an exceptional communicator who can translate technical details into actionable plans, align diverse stakeholders, and drive accountability across engineering and business teams. Success in this role requires a structured thinker who thrives in ambiguity, can anticipate and resolve cross-team challenges, and consistently keeps programs moving forward while ensuring teams remain aligned on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead end-to-end program management for the organization's digital platform, driving planning, execution, delivery

  • Own the integrated master program plan, developing and maintaining detailed schedules, milestones, critical paths, and cross-functional dependencies across five engineering teams and supporting business functions.

  • Partner closely with engineering leaders to sequence technical work, proactively identify and mitigate risks, remove delivery blockers, and ensure successful execution against program objectives.

  • Coordinate complex, cross-functional workstreams-including software development, systems engineering, IT, and UI/UX -into a single, cohesive delivery plan.

  • Establish program governance by driving executive communications, status reporting, decision tracking, risk management, and stakeholder alignment throughout the program lifecycle.

  • Drive technical decision-making by facilitating cross-team discussions, documenting key architectural and program decisions, and ensuring technical dependencies and tradeoffs are understood, communicated, and resolved in support of overall program objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, resolve competing demands, and ensure successful program execution.

  • Facilitate dependency management across multiple development teams, ensuring work is coordinated, sequencing is optimized, and impacts of changes are communicated proactively.

  • Drive program planning activities including roadmap development, release planning, resource forecasting, and capacity planning to support predictable, high-quality software delivery.

  • Monitor program health through key performance indicators, delivery metrics, and milestone tracking, providing data-driven recommendations and escalating issues when appropriate.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement by enabling effective communication, disciplined execution, and strong partnerships across technical and business teams.

  • Contribute to the long-term evolution of the organization's digital platform by improving program management processes, delivery frameworks, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications (Must Haves)

  • Bachelor's degree required with minimum of 5 years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs in software, digital, cloud, or enterprise technology environments,

  • OR Advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs in software, digital cloud, or enterprise technology environments.

  • Strong program management expertise, including roadmap planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and delivery execution

Preferred Qualification (Nice to Have):

  • Experience leading or managing the delivery of mobile & web applications, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise IT products.

  • Experience operating within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments.

  • Demonstrated experience integrating digital products with complex enterprise IT systems, third-party platforms, and SaaS solutions.

  • Experience working across cross-functional teams including Product Management, Software Engineering, IT, Systems, UI/UX, Privacy, and Security.

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, APIs, microservices, and system integration patterns.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive alignment across technical and business organizations.

  • Ability to translate business objectives into scalable technical delivery plans and actionable program roadmaps.

  • Experience building or scaling customer-facing digital ecosystems and connected platform experiences is highly desirable.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
