Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Program Manager to join our team located in the Annapolis Junction , MD area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and budgets) on the contract
* Working with clients and enterprise management to determine priorities and structuring the team's work to align appropriately with those priorities, while effectively managing expectations at all levels.
* Managing requirements, including coordinating and facilitating exchange meetings or forums to determine/validate requirements and ensure tasks are performed according to agreed-upon plans.
* Using standard methods and procedures to track and maintain work parameters, and hosting/attending required meetings.
* Maintaining consistent, proactive, and timely communication with management and other internal stakeholders, particularly regarding outages, and events that may impact other teams.
* Review risk and risk mitigation activities and allocate budgets for the same
* Prepare program status reports, deliverables and other formal reviews to be presented to the clients and enterprise management
* Organizing and maintaining documentation is easily interpreted by all required parties as well as collaborating with teammates, other service providers, vendors, and users to build relationships and achieve objectives.
* Review all financial and technical reports before release to clients
* Communicate issues and solutions to client stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the internal contracts staff
* Coordinate the preparation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and value engineering proposals to clients Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in programs and contracts
* Experience conveying technical concepts to various audiences and communicating effectively with senior managers, colleagues, and others.
* Experience in a management role with an understanding of related processes and functional support elements.
* Experience complex customer situations and interact with all levels of personnel to provide quick and effective resolutions.
* Proven ability to manage distributed teams and projects while building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and technical contractors.
* Must have direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment.
* Active PMP® Certification or equivalent project management certification. Preferred Qualifications: * 7 years of hands-on relevant experience in a technical field.
* Experience with Agile project management experience, to include experience with Agile development related project management applications such as Jira and/or ServiceNow.
* Experience working with ServiceNow.
* Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence. Clearance Requirements: * Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
* Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
