How you'll make an impact:

As a Technical Program Manager on the Planning & Portfolio Team, you will support and execute cross-functional planning and program operations initiatives that help Technology and Product teams deliver on their roadmaps. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Program Operations peers to drive structured planning, track execution, and surface risks and dependencies.

This role is focused on program execution, operational rigor, and coordination, helping teams move from discovery to delivery while improving the consistency and effectiveness of portfolio processes across the organization. The Planning & Portfolio team partners with Technology, Product, and business stakeholders to support prioritization, roadmap execution, and operational processes that enable teams at SiriusXM and Pandora to work more effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for structure and operational rigor - but loves working in an entrepreneurial environment and has a proactive approach to creating impact in a fast-paced setting.

What you'll do

Support ownership of delivery, sequencing, and risk within the Technology and Product roadmap planning process by helping teams prepare, validate, and align planning inputs and assumptions

Partner with Product, Engineering, and Program Operations to help coordinate initiative sequencing, identify dependencies, and surface planning risks that could impact predictable execution

Contribute to execution clarity by helping operationalize planning processes that improve visibility into demand, capacity, timelines, and progress

Support operating rhythm for planning by coordinating and facilitating planning sessions, reviews, and checkpoints in partnership with Portfolio Managers

Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, and tooling teams (e.g., Jira / Atlassian) to help ensure planning data, time tracking, and reporting are accurate and support delivery predictability

Identify and surface risks, gaps, or inefficiencies in planning inputs or processes, and propose pragmatic improvements

Track and communicate planning status and readiness, escalating risks and cross-team dependencies as needed to support predictable execution

Contribute to narrative and artifacts (plans, documentation, dashboards, status updates) that help leadership and teams understand priorities, trade-offs, and execution implications

Collaborate across teams to reinforce shared accountability, clarity, and alignment throughout the planning lifecycle

What you'll need:

3+ years of experience in technical program management, program operations, product operations, or a related role

Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams in a delivery-focused environment

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or programs simultaneously with attention to detail

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear updates

Comfort operating in evolving or partially defined environments, with a bias toward action and follow-through

Experience using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence

Ability to analyze data, track metrics, and identify trends related to execution and delivery

Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across functions

Interest in improving processes and operational effectiveness over time

Familiarity with portfolio planning, prioritization, or capacity tracking is a plus

Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT, Gemini, etc.

Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $118,00 to $140,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
