Position Summary

The Technical Product Manager partners with business and technology teams to translate business needs into product strategy, prioritized backlogs, and technology solutions that deliver measurable value. In this collaborative role, you'll work closely with stakeholders, engineers, architects, and Scrum teams to guide products from discovery through delivery while helping shape the future of IIA's digital platforms.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based in Lake Mary, Florida, combining in-office collaboration with remote work.

What You'll Do
  • Lead product discovery, requirements gathering, and roadmap planning for business and technology initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Partner with engineering teams, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and strategic objectives.
  • Support products across CRM, member portals, learning platforms, commerce, APIs, integrations, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Communicate product priorities, release plans, and progress to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities while driving continuous improvement in product management practices.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role.
  • Experience translating business requirements into PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, SaaS platforms, systems integrations, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CRM, CMS, LMS, commerce, identity, community, or enterprise platforms.
  • Experience supporting digital products within associations, nonprofits, education, or professional services organizations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, platform modernization, accessibility, security, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Product management certifications such as CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Pragmatic Institute, or AIPMM are a plus.
