We are looking for a Technical Producer to support our technology organization on Apex Legends. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-team initiatives from a program standpoint and own delivery for multiple initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with overall game goals.
As a leader on the production team, you will report to the Lead Technical Producer and will be accountable for planning, and delivery management across your areas of ownership. You partner closely with engineering and discipline leads to define goals, manage scope, and drive outcomes from concept through completion on projects such as efficiency improvements of our technical pipelines, infrastructure migrations, and version control solution improvements. You bring clarity to ambiguity, proactively identify risks, and support informed decisions that keep teams moving forward.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery for multiple initiatives, ensuring quality and timeliness from concept through completion.
  • Drive planning across sprint, milestone, and roadmap levels, aligning team scheduling goals with broader game and technology priorities.
  • Partner with engineering and discipline leads to define scope, priorities, and execution strategies.
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers across teams.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication of status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, including sprint planning, feature tracking, and schedule management.
  • Establish strong alignment across teams, acting as a bridge between disciplines to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
  • Support release planning and execution across multiple teams.
  • Tell the story of your programs through roadmaps, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner with production leadership to evolve best practices and improve overall team effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted partner and advocate for team members assigned to your initiatives, ensuring they have the support needed to succeed.
  • Drive continuous improvement of development processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking in Jira, including initiatives, epics, and task-level progress.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or large scale game feature sets from planning through delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams, dependencies, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience owning delivery, risk management, and communication at a program level.
  • Experience improving and scaling production processes.
  • Ability to influence across disciplines and levels, including senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines and technical systems.
  • Passion for games and an interest in Apex Legends.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a producer, project manager, or program manager role, ideally within game development or software engineering.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Strong expertise with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Pay Transparency - North America
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$114,300 - $156,200 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$127,700 - $190,600 USD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
