  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Television Production, or equivalent related experience
  • Five or more years of professional experience in television production and directing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven leadership ability with experience motivating and directing production crews
  • Excellent judgment and timely decision-making in a fast-paced, live news environment
  • Strong foundational knowledge of video and audio production equipment
  • Experience calling direct using Ross Overdrive or equivalent automated production systems
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Working knowledge of:
  • NRCS
  • Video servers
  • Graphics playout systems
  • Video routers and switchers
  • ENG-style cameras
  • Robotic cameras
  • Wireless lav microphones
  • Audio boards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
