Location: Somerset, MA
Full Time: Benefit Eligible
University Pathologists, a Sonic Healthcare USA anatomic pathology practice, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations and strategic growth of our laboratory and pathology services. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing multiple practice locations, supporting physician leadership, and ensuring financial and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead day-to-day operations across multiple laboratory and pathology practice locations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that support growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and oversee financial performance.
  • Supervise and support managers, technical staff, and operational teams.
  • Partner with physician leaders and senior management to achieve business objectives.
  • Evaluate staffing needs, optimize workforce planning, and support employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor productivity, quality assurance programs, and operational performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with corporate departments including Human Resources, Billing, IT, and Sales to resolve operational challenges and support business initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, healthcare organizations, and business partners.
  • Support growth initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and enhance market presence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in healthcare administration, laboratory operations, or a related healthcare environment.
