Wieland is hiring a Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by coordinating production activities, maintaining accurate records, ensuring workflow efficiency and work closely with production maintenance, logistics, planning, and management. This role is located in Wheeling, IL and will be fully on-site. 

Hourly Pay Range: $24.00/hr - $36.00/hr 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly

Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:

                 

              Production Support & Coordination

  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  • Assist with real-time problem solving to maintain operational flow.

               Data & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate production records, logs, work orders, and compliance documents.
  • Enter data into SAP
  • Support audits by ensuring documentation accuracy and readiness.

                Quality & Safety Support

  • Comply with all Wieland policies and environmental standards & report all incidents and near misses immediately.

                Communication & Cross-Functional Support

  • Serve as a liaison between production, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, communicate updates, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Operations Coordinator Qualifications:

  • High Diploma Preferred
  • High regard for Safety and Quality standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills
  • 2 years of experience in a Wieland Manufacturing Plant (preferred)
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
