Job Summary
Serve as subject matter expert providing Information Operations (IO) Planning Analysis support to the MARCENT Plans and Policy Directorate (G-5), spanning MISO, Electronic Warfare, Offensive Cyberspace Operations, and Special Technical Operations (STO).
Specific Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on IO, Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Electronic Warfare (EW), Offensive Cyberspace Operations, Military Deception (MILDEC), Special Technical Operations (STO), interagency coordination, and non-lethal targeting
  • Attend USCENTCOM conferences, MARCENT working groups, and Battle Rhythm events (e.g., IO Working Group, MILDEC Working Group, monthly STO SVTC)
  • Support MARCENT staff reviews of USCENTCOM planning products and generate responses ensuring IO equities are reflected
  • Support development of Component supporting plans to Combatant Command OPLANs and CONPLANs
  • Provide IPRs on planning efforts to MARCENT leadership; develop assessments, briefs, information papers, and standard naval messages
  • Serve as expert on Special Technical Operations (STO), Special Access Programs (SAP), SAR, and SCI program matters for MARCENT
  • Assist MARCENT STO Chief with maintenance of the STO/SAP facility and accreditation; conduct periodic quality control reviews
  • Facilitate screening, initial training, and periodic retraining of personnel for SAP access

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant IO/STO planning experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Subject matter expertise in Information Operations and Special Technical Operations/Special Access Programs
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required; eligibility for SAP access
  • Strong analytical and briefing skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Work is generally performed in a standard office environment at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida. Must be able to sit, stand, and use computer equipment for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
