  • This job is a member of the Technical Operations Team within Supply Chain.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Supplier Management team has the required supplies, materials, support, etc., to complete required tasks.

What you'll do
  • Performs system updates (SCEPTRE, COUPA, Workbrain) for the processing of supplier related orders, invoicing, and team member PTO/Payroll.
  • Interacts with American Airlines suppliers and supports the coordination of supplier meetings including security portal enrollment, calendar invites, and escorting to/from the venue.
  • Issues, edits, and corrects purchase orders (PO), Repair Orders (RO), Form 3011s and Supplier Invoices
  • Coordinates new hire onboarding, including ordering hardware/software required for the role.
  • Perform order expediting functions as needed.
  • Aids in the resolution of order discrepancies.
  • Provides support and back-up for the Tech Ops Supplier Management Purchasing Assistant team.

All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • 1-2 years relevant office environment experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Experience in SCEPTRE, COUPA, & Workbrain
  • Associate degree or 3 years relevant experience as an office manager or staff assistant

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
  • Ability to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
