Join our high-growth team as a Technical Sales Representative, leveraging your technical expertise to design, specify, and propose advanced solutions for leading clients. This role is ideal for early-career engineers with a strong technical foundation who are eager to transition from engineering into a dynamic, client-facing sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Solution Design: Develop system layouts and configurations for UL508A control panels, UL891 switchboards, UL67 panelboards, ATSs, UPSs, MV switchboards, and pad-mount transformers with minimal oversight, utilizing your engineering background to deliver innovative solutions
  2. Value Engineering: Propose alternative solutions to optimize cost, performance, and lead times, ensuring client satisfaction and project success
  3. Quoting and Documentation: Lead the quoting process for large-scale or customized projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of documentation
  4. Client Engagement: Act as a key technical advisor to clients by reviewing technical project documents, delivering product and company background presentations, offering recommendations based on project specifications and industry challenges, and attending trade shows and site visits to educate clients about company offerings
  5. Project Management: On a case by case basis, own customer projects by coordinating technical scope, changes, and lead times expectations to the client. Ensure a seamless customer experience by proactively identifying risks, addressing concerns, and aligning internal teams to deliver on customer commitments
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with business development, engineering, production, and senior leadership to support new product lines, target emerging industries, and drive market expansion initiatives
  7. Continuous Improvement: Participate in the enhancement of sales tools, processes, and training programs, contributing feedback and innovative ideas to improve team performance

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or relevant field experience
  • 2+ years of prior sales experience is a plus but not required
