Job description

Position Overview

The Manager, Technical Delivery, is a technical leader within the DealCloud Services team, responsible for owning end-to-end delivery of client data migration engagements. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with people leadership, driving delivery excellence, team development, and continuous improvement of our data engineering and integration practice.

What you will do
  • Own end-to-end execution and quality of client data migration efforts, including resource staffing, forecasting, project budgets, and client experience.
  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for complex or at‑risk projects, providing governance and expert steering.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers and data migration consultants, providing technical guidance and supporting career growth.
  • Manage team bandwidth to balance client delivery with learning, development, and internal initiatives.
  • Define and continuously improve the technical delivery methodology for integrations and data migrations within DealCloud Services.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services leadership to refine and develop the broader technical delivery approach.
  • Establish and maintain strong cross‑functional relationships with Sales, Product, Account Management, and other business stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences, up to and including executive level.
  • Contribute to and influence the ongoing development of the Intapp Data Tools and Boomi product suite.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the DealCloud engineering practice, and stay current with emerging technologies, including automation in data engineering workflows.
What you will need
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience in engineering, data migration, integrations or related technical delivery roles.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, client‑facing technical projects, including prior experience managing or leading a team of engineers.
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  • Core: Boomi, ETL pipelines, Python, SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Platform and infrastructure: REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Git, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, API integrations, error handling, integration designs, data modelling, transformation, migration, data warehousing, and enterprise data governance frameworks.
  • Security and compliance awareness in the context of client data handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and retain technical talent.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders, with strong client‑facing skills focused on delivery outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Experience in a professional services or implementation‑led delivery environment.
  • Experience building or managing internal data and integration platforms or tooling, with hands‑on use of data migration tooling or ETL frameworks.
  • CRM or SaaS platform data experience, particularly in financial services or deal management systems.
  • Familiarity with emerging automation in data engineering contexts.
