Job description

Position Title:End User Engineer IIDepartment:Information SystemsJob Description:

The End User Engineer II is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and support of virtualization systems. This position assists in the diagnosis and resolution of the most complex platform incidents and requests that require research and diagnosis, and recommends process changes that improve the implementation, maintenance, and support of systems security.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assists in the design and configuration of secure and scalable VSI solutions for the entire enterprise

  • Implementation and support of the cloud environment

  • Assess emerging industry trends; anticipate and develop strategic solutions

  • Manages data collection, reporting, and trending for critical devices and components

  • Participates in, and leads as needed, technical implementation projects and initiatives

  • Provides Tier II support for all endpoint components

General Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:

  • Intermediate certification obtained within one year of employment. Examples: VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization 2024 [v2] (VCTA-DCV 2024), CITRIX CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE - VIRTUALIZATION (CCA-V), or MS-900: Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, MD-102: Endpoint Administrator
