Radiology Department


PRN | Minimum 1 Shift per Month Required

ACHS is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology Department. In this role, you'll work alongside a highly skilled imaging team, performing radiographic procedures independently with professionalism and technical expertise. A minimum of one shift per month is required to maintain PRN status.

What You'll Do
  • Perform high-quality radiographic examinations using proper positioning and technique

  • Set up and utilize radiation protection shielding for patient and staff safety

  • Process and transmit digital images accurately and efficiently

  • Operate imaging equipment safely and report equipment issues or needed repairs

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked radiology area

  • Complete computer-based order entry and documentation

  • Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures involving contrast media or fluoroscopy

  • Perform portable X-ray exams as needed

  • Prepare and instruct patients for radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI, or nuclear medicine exams

  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental guidelines

  • Transport inpatients and outpatients to and from the Radiology Department as needed
