We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to support firm growth across all sectors, with a focus on residential, commercial, and data center markets. This role will focus on identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting pursuit efforts that align with the firm's strategic growth goals.

This position is ideal for a business development professional with experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Market Outreach
  • Identify and qualify new project opportunities in residential, commercial, data centers, among other sectors.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to developers, owners, contractors, and industry partners.
  • Support market research and identify emerging opportunities within target sectors.
  • Maintain and track opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Schedule and participate in client meetings and pre-positioning efforts.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, networking functions, and association meetings.
  • Support ongoing client engagement initiatives to strengthen repeat business.
  • Assist with Go/No-Go evaluations and pursuit strategy discussions.
  • Help coordinate proposal materials and client presentations.

Internal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Project Managers and technical staff to align business development efforts with firm capabilities.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline status and business development activities.
  • Support cross-selling opportunities across service lines.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • 5-8 years of business development experience within the A/E/C industry.
  • Understanding of A/E procurement processes and private development cycles.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and make decisions in a small, collaborative firm environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
